Dear Hockey Friends,
We hope that you are all well and staying strong.
With respect to our tournament for 2021, we understand that it would be nice to know which dates we have in mind. This enables the teams which have disputes with the hotels about refunding etc. could use these when negotiating new deals for next year.
At this moment we plan to have the tournament on May 7,8 and 9 in 2021, but we can not confirm that this is 100% definite. We are awaiting the competition calendar from the Dutch Hockey association and tournament calendar from other associations. We expect that these will be available in 2-3 weeks from now. So if you can wait with your negotiations with hotels, please do so. If not you have to stick with the mentioned dates.
In either case we want to support you with our contacts with those hotels. So, if you need support, let us know! Please mention which hotel, under which name, reservation number, and the number of rooms you had the reservation. Additionally it would be nice to know with whom you had (unsuccessful) contact to negotiate to transfer the reservations to next year. So, please try yourselves first and let us know when you need support.

We hope that you are all well and staying strong.
With respect to our tournament for 2021, we understand that it would be nice to know which dates we have in mind. This enables the teams which have disputes with the hotels about refunding etc. could use these when negotiating new deals for next year.

ISVT 2020 CANCELLED
Dear Hockey Friends,
The global developments around the Corona virus and the recommendations and procedures which are active in the Netherlands and other countries, have resulted in our decision to cancel the ISVT 2020 tournament, which was scheduled on 24, 25 and 26 of April. We obviously regret this decision but we are sure that this is the only possible outcome, based on the recommendations of the experts and the guidelines set by the Dutch gouvernement.
As promised in our earlier message around this subject, we will refund the payments made for diners, buffets and lunch boxes. With respect to the team fees, we wil refund most of the amount, but are investigating the already incurred costs and will deduct those from the team fee. We will inform you what he outcome of this is and will refund accordingly as soon as we possible can.
We hope we have informed you timely and obviously will be back in 2021. Please let us know if you have questions or need additional information.

UPDATE
Dear Hockey Friends,
We have received lot's of questions, remarks and concerns about the tournament and whether and when we will decide to cancel the event. We are obviously following how the outbreak is developing in the Netherlands and around us, and we have all noticed that things are changing by the day. The organizing committee and the HCTilburg club management have a meeting next Wednesday (March 19). After the meeting, on the same day, we will send you a message about the decision taken and any other information you might need to manage your own cancelations and communications.

GAAT ISVT 2020 DOOR?
De toernooiorganisatie heeft de volgende mededeling verstuurd:
Dear Hockey Friends,
Everybody is aware of the development around the Corona virus and obviously we are daily monitoring the news. We realize that is effecting the decisions around our tournament and we base our own opinion on the Governmental Body in charge of health and safety (RIVM) and the Dutch Hockey Association. When we take our decision whether and when the tournament needs to be canceled, we need to ensure that also the cost aspect of the decision, for all of us, is taken into consideration. Based on the above and what we see at this moment, we decided to take and communicate the final decision on March 25, 2020. When things develop in the wrong direction and we need to decide earlier, we will obviously do so.
Furthermore we need your help: if your team for whatever reason decides to cancel their participation we need to know asap. We want to stress that final responsibility is in your hands, we can only follow the recommendations and make up our mind taking the full picture and consequences in consideration.
When we need to cancel, which we would not like to do, we already can inform you that all food orders and deposits on team cards will be refunded. We can also confirm that the team fee will be refunded, although we might need to deduct a small amount, to cover the costs we had to make preparing the the tournament.
